Description
On offer is The VARIOUS TAMLA MOTOWN ARTISTS’ 45 rpm EP entitled HITSVILLE USA No 1 released in the UK on TAMLA MOTOWN TME 2001 in 1963.
Tracks are – Baby don’t you do it - Marvin Gaye / I’ll always love you – Brenda Holloway / Devil in his heart – Carolyn Crawford / Candy to me – Eddie Holland.
The laminated cover – featuring a map of ‘Hitsville USA’ centring of course on Detroit, the home of Tamla Motown, is in lovely EX+/EX condition. The disc is in lovely EX condition and plays EX throughout. It has one minor surface mark on ‘Baby Don’t You Do It’ which does not affect play at all. The labels are nice and clear and the vinyl is very clean. Overall this is a lovely copy of this historic EP – the first to be issued in the UK on Tamla Motown’s very own label with its distinctive logo.
Please contact me if you have any questions. Good luck with this auction and please note my other eBay auctions. Thank you for looking.
