Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... THE VINYL MINT- INCREDIBLE CONDITION
As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized UK WHITEL LABEL VIRGIN pressing - IT REMAINS SIMPLY STUNNING..AND AS GOOD AS YOU WILL EVER SEE..STORED SINCE 1974
We have to state here, with a top professional hoover clean, this could get back to pretty much MINT condition..A sit is here, on playback it is stunning and shows only some light whisp and some dust in the grooves..which even this did not reduce the quality of the play..bearing in mind the delicate sounds of Tangerine Dream, their LPs are hard to find 100% clean..this one, with only a few little dust pops and some light lead in static, is simply amazing!
This first SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings.
There are A COUPLE OF TINY whisp lines and very little signs of play - This LP has been archived from new, and it really is quite astonishing how a record 40 years old can survive in this quite spectacular condition..There are no scratches or marks here, and the whole vinyl is a stunner.
There are no spider lines around the spindle hole and the labels are as new..again confirming this LP is as good as we have ever seen.
OVERALL WE FEEL YOU WILL NOT SEE A BETTER EXAMPLE OF THIS CLASSIC LP.

Correct FLAT MATT 'silver spray ink' Gatefold first issued earliest sleeve - UK PRESSING
Later sleeves were the typical glossier late 70s/80s design - this is straight out the box from 1974
This is in simply incredible condition, you will not see better than this we feel!
The silver spray ink and blue colours are simply outstanding.
No ring wear or ring press.
Asides from one tiny little rub spot on the spine and a couple of little spots on the extreme bottom edge, this sleeve is pretty much perfect. There is some incredibly feint white rub on the back top seam but you'd need glasses to see this and is not worth worrying over at all!!
A couple of tiny tiny little spider lines on the spine edge and you could say the tiniest of tip rub
The open gatefold is absolutely incredible like new..no wear, rub or marks at all
