ORIGINAL 1972 FIRST GERMAN PRESSING – OHR RECORDS
Superb high-grade example of Tangerine Dream’s landmark Zeit double LP, originally released in Germany on the legendary Ohr label in 1972.
This is the original first German pressing, with the distinctive original Ohr labels, original laminated gatefold sleeve and correct early stamped matrix/runout details. No card insert.

CONDITION
VINYL: EXCELLENT+ PLAY GRADED
An exceptionally well-preserved pair of records.
Both discs retain a superb deep, mirror-like gloss and the playing surfaces are remarkably clean, with no scratches, scuffs or marks.
The records have been play graded at EX+, providing exceptionally clean playback throughout. Plays exceptionally well, with only faint background crackle audible in the near-silent passages. Zeit famously has some extremely sparse, quiet passages, so even very low-level vinyl noise becomes noticeable.
A superb surviving pair of records for an original 1972 pressing and clearly very carefully handled throughout their life.
LABELS: EXCELLENT / NEAR MINT
The original Ohr labels are exceptionally clean and well preserved, retaining excellent colour with no writing, stickers or significant damage.
The distinctive reverse-side “macht das Ohr auf” Ohr labels are also beautifully preserved.
ORIGINAL LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE: EXCELLENT (EX)
The original 1972 laminated gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition and presents exceptionally well for its age.
The laminate retains superb gloss, with strong and vibrant artwork to the front and rear. The spine remains intact and readable, showing only light age/storage wear, while the spectacular full internal gatefold artwork is particularly clean and well preserved.
There are only minor signs of age and careful handling, principally very light edge/corner wear as shown in the photographs.
An exceptionally attractive surviving example of this original 1972 Ohr gatefold sleeve.

The vinyl will be carefully separated from its inner sleeve and placed in new anti static sleeve, and will be carefully packed in a purpose-made rigid LP mailer with protective stiffeners to ensure it is well protected in transit.
