The Black Devil's Band - Jibu / Dada Biki  TRS 003 Tanzania 1977
Superb rumba / soul crossover from Tanzania's 'Soulville' scene with songs in Swahili (Jibu) and Lingala by the elusive Black Devil's Band. Good use of vibraphone.

'Dada Biki' is a very nice soulful rumba groover with funky drumming, uncompiled and unheard! B side starts out as sweet soul and changes pace half way through into something similar to 'Jibu'.

Vinyl in very clean condition, however the beginning of b-side (15 sec into the song) has some intro crackle and a single spot that skips on my turntable (may improve with a thorough cleaning). Also check out my other items for more rare Tanzanian and other singles.

In all my years selling via the web, I have never had a package lost and only once did an LP break but if you want to be 100% sure you may opt to have the record sent through registered mail at a little extra cost.
