Description

Wonderful example of the TAS-listed Audiophile recording of Massenet's 'Le Cid' - ballet music (plus 'Scènes Pittoresques' and 'The Last Sleep of the Virgin') on the EMI/Columbia Studio 2 Stereo imprint label, with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra conducted by Louis Fremaux, TWO 350, a UK first pressing LP with 1/2 matrix suffixes.

Front-laminated sleeve has just a couple of the very lightest edge creases and a very small corner bump, but these are very minor faults; retains excellent colour and structure; certainly grades EX+.

Vinyl is in EX+ condition, very well looked after and carefully played, with only a couple of very faint hairlines, plus a few very small marks in the run-in groove on side two (not on the playing surface), none of which affect super audio. It's a superb copy of an audiophile classic!
