ITEM:    " Hi - Fi A La Espanola ",  Mercury Living Presence Deep Groove label, catalog number SR90144, Stereo. Eastman-Rochester "Pops" Orchestra,  Frederick Fennell conducting.  Matrix Stamper Numbers: FR1 and FR1 usually indicate a first or early pressing.

COMMENTS / CONDITION: This LP came from a private collection - it is not a beat up item bought at a yard sale. The record was visually graded, and was test played.

Grading is according to Goldmine Standards. If you are not familiar with that system, please go to the Goldmine web site and read the grading details BEFORE YOU BID.

Visually the vinyl is in a VG+ Condition with a nice gloss. There are no warps, deep scratches, cracks, or chips. On close inspection under a bright light source, a few wispy scuffs and hairlines can be seen, which are mostly cosmetic and have little effect on the playback or listening enjoyment of the music. On my older system, both sides played nicely with no harsh background noise, skips, or groove lock. On track 4, side 1 there is a tiny manufacturing blemish the size of a pin-head that produces an audible, but not explosive, pop for 2 consecutive revolutions. On my system, it does not cause a skip. The rest of the record played quietly with an occasional soft tick. NOTE: Sound quality will vary from system to system. The above comments are included strictly as reference, and are not a statement as to the experience you may have with your equipment.

Both deep groove labels are in excellent, clean condition with no peeling edges, rips, or writing. The center hole is perfectly round and shows no signs of abusive playing.

The inner sleeve is white paper.

I have not tried to clean the vinyl or the labels. Serious collectors usually have their own preferred methods they use to care for their records.

The laminated cover is in strong VG+ condition, with no cut-out drill holes, notches, or clipped corners. Minor ring / rub wear is visible, mostly on the back cover, and light edge and corner wear is present. There are no stickers, labels, or price tags. Photos and graphics are crisp and glossy. All seams are strong with no splits. The spine is firm and easily readable.

Do not sleep on this one. First Pressings of this album seldom appear on eBay.
