Description

Here is a legendary 1982 release on the Chandos label (ABRD 1055) out of England. It's Bach-Stokowski Symphonic Transcriptions featuring Robert Pikler conducting the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. One of the great audiophile records of all time. Fantastic sound.

Condition - The jacket shows light wear including a little creasing at top and left edge, as well as some little scrapes at the very top edge. The jacket grades at VG+. The record is shiny but it has very light scuffs and marks that are only visible under very bright light. The record grades at VG++ by sight, and it sounds similar. Mostly plays great, but there is a little bit of very light static here and there, mostly noticeable only the very quiet parts. Overall, a superb listen.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records, discs or tapes. The highest grade I give to unsealed records, discs or tapes is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
