LABEL: ROYALE 1265 

RECORD CONDITION: BOTH SIDES ARE VG++/VG+. PLAY GRADED. NO SCUFFS OR SCRATCHES THAT AFFECT PLAYBACK. DOES HAVE THE COMMON ROYALE RECORDS SURFACE NOISE, DUE TO BEING PRESSED ON LOW GRADE VINYL. VERY GOOD SHINE TO EACH SIDE. COVER IS VG+. ALL CORNERS AND SEAMS INTACT. LIGHT STAINING/BROWNING ON BACK (SEE PHOTOS). THIS A VERY GOOD COPY FOR A RECORD RELEASED IN 1952! 

ITEM INFORMATION: This is the rare Royale 1265 recording billed as Fritz Malachowsky playing Tschaikowsky's violin concerto, but identified by Royale recording researcher Ernst Lumpe as most likely Gerhard Taschner playing the violin part. He is supported by the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Artur Rother. It is in very good condition, but with the usual "Royale hiss" from the lower grade vinyl used at the Royale factory. Surface is shiny with NO fingerprints, scuffs, or scratches visible. A great LP and a worthy addition to a quality record collection.

SELLER INFO: I am a 30-year collector of great classical, jazz, soundtracks and rock records. I started in late 2008 with a sale of a limited number of the best items in my collections. I was inactive with eBay sales for 2011 and thru mid-2012. I am now returning to more regular auctions, each a single music genre-related or performer type auction of LP’s, 10 to 15 each time. Auctions will be of the highest quality and desirability. Expect to bid on rare LP’s of Furtwangler, Bernard Herrmann, string and piano artists and jazz artists. Many fine string,   TAS-listed or TAS-type audiophile records will be included as well. At this time I can not take wish-list items, but please add me to your favorites list for upcoming offerings. My items have no reserve. I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage. All records are carefully packed in custom cardboard mailers with extra cardboard padding for safe shipment. Record and inner sleeve removed from cover and placed in poly sleeve.

GRADING: Sealed LP’s are noted in their description. I grade by both visual inspection and play. Mint is not used. Near Mint is my highest grade and should play problem free; VG++ should play problem free or with noted shortcomings noted in write-up.  VG+ is listed with any shortcomings noted in write-up. My description will be accurate. All items guaranteed, but I do not refund shipping costs.

CALIFORNIA SALES TAX: For items shipped within California, I am required to charge an additional 8.25% for state sales tax.

DOMESTIC & CANADIAN SHIPPING CHARGES: Media Mail is $4.00 anywhere in US for first record and $.50 for each additional record. For single LP’s, Priority Mail is $9.00 anywhere in US and $1.00 for each additional record. For multiple discs sets, please wait for invoice before paying. Airmail to Canada is $9.00 (U.S.) for one LP and $3.00 each additional LP.

FOREIGN SHIPPING CHARGES: Europe, Asia and Australia Airmail  is $15.00 for the first record and $4.00 each additional LP. However, if the LP auction price exceeds $75.00, shipping charge will include cost of conformation of delivery tracking. This extra charge registers your LP and assures tracking of your package if delayed. Please select this shipping service when paying at Check Out or wait and I will invoice you. For all foreign orders of multiple records or sets, please wait for our invoice before making a payment. For item(s) that need to be sent priority mail international & insured due to value or weight, please do not make a payment before you receive your invoice. U S Shippers are allowed to send parcels by 1st Class International Mail that weight 4 pounds or less. Parcels that weight more than 4 pounds must be sent by Priority Mail International, which is more expensive.

FREQUENTCY OF SHIPPING: I ship very quickly, usually one day within receipt of payment. However, sometimes it can take up to three days from receipt of payment to send items out, depending on how many orders I have. Note that media mail can take three weeks from when I receive payment.
