RORY RECORDED live at the Isle Of Wight Festival in 1971 doing what he does best, namely blowin' up a storm and wringing blood from the neck of that battered Fender Strat. Always best enjoyed in concert Rory's commitment to the live experience was second to none as this album so adequately shows. Stretching out numbers to great lengths in an effort to derive maximum benefit and extending the solos for even more dramatic effect the impact is wonderfully preserved on this extremely well recorded album - a staple in the Gallagher Cannon.
Most impressive track? Probably a toss up between 'Feels So Good', the old Big Bill Broonzy chestnut dusted down, electrified and injected with pure power trio madness, or 'Catfish', a considerably raw rendition of another blues standard brought to book across a panoramic 15 minutes of improvisation and a blitzkrieg dogfight between guitar and bass!

Vinyl: Clean and shiny condition. One or two very faint spindle marks on labels but exceptionally clean both sides. Grades as archive MINT!
Cover: Issued in a beautiful fully laminated cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 50 years after release. Grades as archive MINT-!
