1st UK Pressing Cat No. 583083 Polydor Labels.
Near Mint Vinyl! Near Mint Stunning The Best Audio Quality!
Near Mint 1st Issue MacNeil Press Textured Cover!
Earliest #1#1 Matrix Endings!
Looks and Sounds Barely ever played In My Opinion!
You can still see the plastic in the spindle hole!
Blues Archive Copy Final Upgrade!

Another from my personal collection! 1st UK pressing on the Polydor labels! Earliest #1#1 matrix! The vinyl has always been stored separate from the cover to prevent ringwear or damage! This is how I have always stored my records! For me the most important aspect of collecting records is and always has been the audio quality. This vinyl has the best dynamics that I have ever heard on this awesome album!
The audio is absolutely crystal clear and very very vibrant through out no distortion no constant loud clicks or pops almost like a new vinyl in my opinion! One of the best that I have ever heard on this album! Visually it is hard to see if this vinyl has ever been played at all in my opinion! It was purchased from new and  initially only ever played to record to tape and then stored in a case with the vinyl removed from the cover and lay dormant for over 40 years or more! The 1st issue, MacNeil Press Printed, textured cover is also stunning with no splits or tears , lovely and clean. An archive copy final upgrade material in my opinion!

Hear the complete album in the player below! (Actual recording from the vinyl)
Exceptional Near Mint Vinyl! Near Mint Audio!

All tracks composed by Rory Gallagher

Taste (originally "The Taste") was formed in Cork, Ireland, in August 1966 as a trio consisting of Rory Gallagher on guitars and vocals, Eric Kitteringham on bass, and Norman Damery on drums. In their early years Taste toured in Hamburg and Ireland before becoming regulars at Maritime Hotel, an R&B club in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In 1968 Taste began performing in the UK where the original lineup split up. The new lineup formed with Richard McCracken on bass and John Wilson on drums. The new Taste moved permanently to London where they signed with the record label Polydor.

In November 1968, the band, along with Yes, opened for Cream at Cream's farewell concerts. While with Polydor, Taste began touring the United States and Canada with the British supergroup Blind Faith. In April 1969, Taste released the first of their two studio albums, the self-titled Taste, with On the Boards following in early 1970, the latter showing the band's jazz influences with Gallagher playing saxophone on numerous tracks.

One performance came in 1970 as part of the Isle of Wight Festival, alongside Jimi Hendrix and The Who. Later the same year Taste toured Europe but were disbanded by Gallagher, who decided to pursue a solo career, performing their last show on New Year's Eve in Belfast. Wilson and McCracken immediately formed 'Stud' in early 1971, with Jim Cregan and John Weider.

Some years after the band's break up, earlier recordings featuring the original line-up emerged.

A musical homage to Taste and Gallagher was by Black 47 in their song "Rory", released on 1998's Green Suede Shoes album.

William Rory Gallagher born 2 March 1948 – 14 June 1995) was an Irish blues-rock multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and bandleader.

Born in Ballyshannon, County Donegal, and raised in Cork, Gallagher recorded solo albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, after forming the band Taste during the late 1960s.

He was a talented guitarist known for his charismatic performances and dedication to his craft. Gallagher's albums have sold in excess of 30 million copies worldwide. Gallagher received a liver transplant in 1995, but died of complications later that year in London, UK at the age of 47

The Vinyl

This lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warping. On visual inspection it is hard to even see if this has been played at all! Visually this is Near Mint in my opinion! Even on close scrutiny I find it hard to even see a blemish on the playing surface. No scratches or marks at all that I can see looks as good as it did when it came from the shop in my opinion! Any marks that could possibly be seen would be sleeve removal only,, Importantly no marks that would cause any interference clicks or pops.

The Labels
The original Polydor Labels (Only 1st UK issues) These are lovely and clean with no marks or tears. I find it hard to see any wear around the spindle hole and any spidering are very hard to see. This has barely ever been played at all, in fact it is hard to see that it has been played in my opinion!

The Audio Quality
I have played the vinyl at very loud volume on a top system and fully recorded the record for you to hear for yourself in the player provided above! This audio is absolutely awesome throughout! Please note! One of the best sounding copies that I have heard of this album, super deep bassey feel and cristal clear and vibrant through out! No clicks or pops heard at all! Audio graded Near Mint in my opinion! You will find it hard to find a better sounding copy! Near Mint and looks in barely ever played condition!
Hear the complete album in the player above! (actual recording from the vinyl)

The Record Sleeve
This is the original poly lined paper record sleeve! No splits or tears, light creasing fading/staining with age only. I notice a very small number at the top corner on one side worth to mention! This is the original!

The Cover
This is the original 1st issue un-laminated Textured MacNeil Press cover! No splits or tears no real nasty creases to talk of generally lovely and clean throughout! No real ring wear or nasty rubbing that is so common on these covers, all text can be read on the spine! Very minor crease lines at the spine and edges only noticed if looked for in my opinion.  Lovely cover graded at least excellent plus in my opinion!
