- Titles are ‘Wabash Blues’ b/w ‘Everybody Loves My Baby’ - two excellent hot sides.........................................................................................................................Dave Taylor was the 30's band leader of the Charlotte-based Dixie Serenaders before Jimmie Gunn. The band was comprised mostly of students from Johnson C. Smith University. They recorded two sides in 1931 before Gunn took over the band in 1934. Band members Leslie Johnakins, Skeets Tolbert, and Harry Prather had later careers in New York
- Here are the details:
- The record is only in V condition with very slight background noise but plays really well .
- The labels are a bit worn and scratched.
