NOTES: Original 1976 US release. Cover has ring/spine/seam wear but not split. Record grade is strict visual as play grade is solid VG+. To me this is one of the weirdest mid-70's US psych records that somehow Acid Archives missed. The first couple times I listened to it, I found it a bit wimpy and underwhelming. But then I broke thru partly because the faster tracks had a Roky Erickson edge to the vocals. Now I pretty much like all of it. I guess it is maybe Mormon because of Lamanite title, but didn't notice overt religious lyrics. To me this seems a future riser in price as more learn about it. Has never been reissued in any format.
GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
