Description
This is the original UK LP, TCHAIKOVSKY, PATHETIQUE SYMPHONY LP, with The Philharmonia Orchestra, Conducted by Carlo Maria Giulini, 1961 Stereo 1st Press on the COLUMBIA label SAX 2368, complete with it's original EMI inner sleeve
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- YAX 408-6, Side 2:- YAX 409-7
Stamper codes are, Side 1:- 1 / G, Side 2:- 1 / GM
Both Matrix numbers and Stamper codes identify this as a Very 1st Pressing
The original UK 1961 Very 1st issue UK Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover is in a EX condition. The beautifully glossy thickly laminated front maintains all it's original bright vibrant colours, superb!!. The lovely broad spine is fully intact, solid, clean and perfectly readable. The back of the cover is nice and clean, only slightly aged Only the original price of the record, written in pencil on the back, top right hand corner, other than that their is no other unwanted writing and no seam splits
The vinyl is in EX+++ condition!!!!, gleaming with all it's original 'Just Pressed glossy shine and lustre!, I have played both sides (very carefully!) **the vinyl plays EX+ **, playing with stunning crisp clear clarity, amazing Stereo sound!!!!. Only a 'Hint' of very light fine crackle to be heard, mainly inbetween tracks and on some of the quiet sections. Their in NO sound distortion, NO skips, NO jumps, No sticking. The quality of this RARE 1961 UK Stereo 1st Pressing is TOP TOP QUALITY!, playing with stunning rich tones, warmth and depth!! THE CLARITY and CRISPNESS is SIMPLY SUBLIME!, a great LP and a sheer joy and privilage to listen too!, STUNNING!!
The lovely Stereo COLUMBIA labels are in EX+++ condition!!!, beautifully clean, maintaining all their original bright fresh colour, their is no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows little or no wear!, lovely labels!
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1961 UK Very 1st issue polythene lined EMI inner sleeve. The inner sleeve is in EX condition, no unwanted writing and no seam splits, BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE!
