Tchaikovsky Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D major Op 35. On Decca SXL 2029 Wideband Grooved "original recording by" Absolute first edition!! Blueback 1E in matrix!
Alfredo Campoli violin with Ataulfo Argenta conducting London Symphony Orchestra. One of the legendary early Decca recordings, I think this is the only stereo recording with Campoli.LP: EXC a few light surface scuffs producing very few tiny tics and (I counted) 3 tics a bit louder. The LP has been cleaned on my Blue Danube LP Cleaner ..the last reamining tics might dissappear with an additional clean. There are no skips and no wear to the groove. Sound is great and typical for these early SXL 2000s a bit round. This will not dissappoint you!
Cover and innnersleeve: EXC except for the horrible partly repairable front slit, back looks fine (blueback) orig innersleeve not shown
