Description
This great item is the vintage classical vinyl record 'Tchaikovsky: Violin Concerto in D Major' - recorded by Campoli with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ataulfo Argenta, it was released on the Decca label with the catalogue number SXL 22029. With the sought-after 'Wide Band' label it is an original pressing dating from the Fifties. It is in, as can be seen, goog condition, looking as if carefully and rarely played and well stored. For a detailed description:
- Sleeve - bright and glossy with very little wear. Botton left corner of flipback torn. Abrasive wear at bottom of opening about 1" in length.
- Record - visually inspected under a bright light i can see nothing - scratches or marks - that would affect the playing or sound quality.
In fantastic condition, and with the superior sound quality of a sturdy, deeply-cut vintage pressing, this would be a splendid addition to any collection of vintage classical records.
