Description
Alfredo Campoli plays the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto quite beautifully on this very rare 1958 Decca stereo LP.
Label is wide band grooved.
Performed by: Alfredo Campoli with Ataulfo Argenta conducting the London Symphony Orchestra.
Date of issue: 1958.
Issuing label and record number: Decca SXL.2029. 12" vinyl LP. Stereo. Wide band grooved label.
Condition of disc: Generally very good with only slight marks, apart from a curved scratch affecting the slow movement which begins on side 2.
Condition of sleeve: Good; the scan shows that the clear foil has lifted - not peeled off - where the cover has creased on the middle to lower right. Back cover a little grubby.
Other information/notes: Notes on back cover are uncredited.
