Description

Original 196? lp on Decca (SXL 2004)

Tchaikovsky Symphony No.6 in B MInor (Pathetique). Jean Martinon conducting The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Original UK pressing. Edition 1, 'Original Recording By' label text, wide band, grooved. Flipback, blue border.
Unfortunately not mint but a surprisingly servicable copy nonetheless.

The vinyl has some scuffing and several non feelable hairline marks when viewed under direct strong light. No heavy scratches. Plays with some background noise and a few minor pops here and there. No skips. However, depending on the sensitivity of your pickup this may vary, as my pickup is relatively heavy. The vinyl would probably benefit from a professional clean which may improve performance considerably. Labels show minor spindle wear. Jacket has minor seam wear, corner wear, foxing to top flipback on rear and half of bottom flipback is missing. (vg/vg)
Buyer pays postage uk 1st class signed for £4.20. Europe registered £11. US/Japan/Australia registered £13.
Having spent several years buying and selling records on a full time basis i feel i have a good understanding of the grading process. I study all records visually under a direct strong light and test play to assess sound quality. I am strict on condition, i rarely if ever grade a record higher than 'ex+' even if i know it's unused, i don't feel a 'mint/mint-' grade can be truly accurate when applied to vinyl. Any questions please do ask.
