Details: - This is part of my Personal Prog/Psych Rock Collection which I have spent many years acquiring - On offer here is the mega rare UK LP by rock outfit `Tear Gas` called `Piggy Go Getter` this is the early incarnation of the Sensational Alex Harvey Band; this was their only release on the Very Obscure `Famous GW` Label` (this IS NOT the USA Paramount version which is far easier to find!!!) In 45 years of collecting I`ve never seen another copy so don`t expect to find another especially in this TOP condition!!!! Vinyl: (EX++) Lovely `Thick Vinyl` Pressing - under Bright Halogen Spotlights I can see some light (unfeelable) sleeve removal marks, plays fine with just light dust crackle, so rare to find a copy like this!!! Comes in original inner sleeve with printed date 4-70 Sleeve: (EX+) Nice copy of this Textured `Garrod & Lofthouse` Gatefold sleeve, Some spine wear and edge wear, No Ringwear, sharp opening, (see photos for full overview), some glue residue from sellotape removal (see opening) a `Great` find for this very rare sleeve - doubt youll find another!! Labels: Clean Labels - Just a few light visible spindle lines Post/Packing: UK - £5.50, Europe - £7.50, World £9.50I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover
Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
