Description
This is a rare original MONO pressing of the excellent TED CURSON PLAYS FIRE DOWN BELOW LP by TED CURSON on Prestige Records (PR 7263) from 1963. A fantastic jazz record from this great artist. The vinyl is in G+ condition with lots of surface marks, heavy wear, some writing in felt pen on the labels, as pictured, and some audible surface noise (light crackle); not for the most demanding audiophiles, but a perfectly enjoyable copy without skips or other anomalies that sounds much better than it looks. The cover is in VG- condition; opened, but still in original shrink wrap with some shrink wrap partially torn away, a bit of blight staining, some scuffs and dings, and a four-inch seam split at the top right edge, as pictured. Don't pass this one up!
