Description

Here's an extremely rare artifact of Boston rock and roll history: four unreleased early demos by Teddy and the Pandas, recorded at the legendary Ace Recording Studios at One Boylston Place, in November of 1964. These are likely the first recordings the group ever made, and none of the songs ended up being released in any form: "Something About You," "Boys Cry Inside," "This Time" and "I Want to Be Loved." The tracks are on a pair of double-sided 10" acetates. The discs were cut at 78 rpm for reasons known only to the sound engineer. The recordings themselves are crude: sounds like demos recorded with one or two mics in the room. Both discs are in VG+ condition with a few light storage marks from the paper sleeves.
