Mat Camison / Pierre-Alain Dahan – Discothèques (Télé Music n°38, France, 1973)
Camison & Dahan, the marvellous pair. I don't know how many tunes they have recorded but…well, those on library always have a particular sound, I would say heavy groove with a pinch of prog. What would be related to albums by Chute Libre, Harlem Pop Trotters, etc… "Summer Discotheque", "Rhythm + Rhythm", and the terrific (and 9.38 min long) "Long Playing Time" are the best tunes on this album. Killer progressive funk !
