TELEVISION
US 7" Vinyl Single MONO (1975 ORK 81975)
A: Little Johnny Jewel (Part One) 3:30
B: Little Johnny Jewel (Part Two) 4:00
US Mono single by Television recorded before their first album 'Marquee Moon. Television made their vinyl debut in 1975 with "Little Johnny Jewel" (Parts One and Two), a 7-inch single on the independent label Ork Records, owned by their manager, Terry Ork.
The first recorded work that the world ever heard of legendary New York post-punk band, Television. The song was released in 1975 by New York City label Ork Records and is a blast of seemingly disconnected avant-garde guitar noodling that as the song progresses, suddenly begin to congeal into a song. Considered the first 'Post Punk'; song before Punk had started.
Single is housed in plain white paper sleeve. Rare to find in this condition.
