DESCRIPTION

Here is a clean, pristine, lovely original issue of the classic debut from one of the seminal bands from the mid-70's NYC, GBGB's Punk scene, Television.  I really can't say anything about "Marquee Moon" that hasn't been said before, but this is a classic album and cornerstone for any collection.  Guitar players will especially fall under its spell and be endlessly fascinated with Tom Verlaine's and Richard Lloyd's ability to make guitar solos sound tasteful and not just mere wank-fests.  Fans of the Rapture might take notice of the influence of edgy, yelping voice of Tom Verlaine, and the sharp, bracing guitar riffs.  I have had this record several times in my life, in different formats even, but this copy has to be the nicest original issue I've ever seen.  It's just beautiful and it is extremely difficult to part with, so please understand what an awesome copy you'll be getting.  Good luck and thanks for bidding!
