Description

This 45rpm record is  by the classic Texas funk band The Tempos. They sing the ultimate funk tune "Chicken Pie" backed by the Texas soul classic"Run,JOhnny Run". It was released in the late 1960's on Dy-Ran records 711. The label hails from Hermitage,Texas. This is no doubt one of the better funk pieces I have listed. I believe they have a few of their tunes on Texas funk compilation C.D.'s. Vinyl has an excellent gloss and a section of light scuffs and I would grade it at vg+ to vg++ and it plays well too.
