This record is in very good condition. It has spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs, severe fading or any other major issues. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in good condition.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have nothing really major visible but there is clear signs of use to both sides with light surface lines, marks and scuffs showing. There are more minor light wispy lines visible in bright light and the record is clearly used. So the record is used and has clear signs of this, but it luckily has nothing really nasty or hugely sinister.
I play tested the record and overall it plays well enough. The audio is not perfect but it is still enjoyable. It lays flat on the deck and there is little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. There are no skips or sticks on either side but there are a few ticks and light surface noise in places. I noted surface noise in the run in and intro to side 1, followed by 8-10 ticks before the vocal begins. I then noted occasional sporadic surface noise and splutters throughout side 1 but nothing really drastic. Side 2 plays in a similar fashion to side 1 with occasional splutters and some surface noise in places. I also noted a faint series(14-16) of ticks in track 2. These were soft however and not hugely disruptive. Overall not a perfect audio experience but one that can still be enjoyed and overall is still a solid VG grade in my opinion.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. It has wear and rubbing to the edges and corners(pics) with a 1" tear up the bottom edge from the rear bottom left corner. There is also heavy wear along the spine but this is still solid enough and the text along it still legible. There are no further tears, splits or pen marks and overall the sleeve still looks decent. There is no major issues with creasing, ring marks or grubbiness but there is touch of all these showing in places. Overall a solid enough sleeve with some age related wear as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to the sleeves condition.
It contains a brand new plain white replacement inner as the original was missing.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
