Terje Rypdal/ s-t 1st LP. ECM 1016. Orig. 1971 German pressing. EX (some lamination peeling wear around LP opening); LP is NM. Early and intense release from guitarist Rypdal with all star backing from Bobo Stenson, Jan Garbarek and others. Heavy psych and prog overtones, tons of echoplex electric piano, and pounding bass. Really spacey and dream-like. There's a reason why Rypdal is on the NWW list. This is his hardest ECM release to find.
