The Holy Grail of Detroit Northern Soul / Crossover — Museum-Grade NOS Copy

Offered here is an extraordinary, time-capsule original 1967 first pressing DJ Promo copy of Terri Bryant’s double-sided Northern Soul masterpiece on Verve Records. Untouched, unplayed, and preserved in New Old Stock (NOS) condition.

• A-Side: "When I'm In Your Arms" (2:20) — Penned and produced by Detroit soul legends Leon Ware and Mike Terry under supervision of Taylor & Davis for Sussex Productions. An undisputed floor-filler driven by soaring brass, infectious Motown-style syncopation, and Terri Bryant's impassioned vocal delivery.

• B-Side: "Geni" (2:28) — Produced by George McGregor; an exceptional, driving stomper that holds its own in any high-caliber DJ set.

• First Press Promo Lineage: Dedicated light blue/aqua "Special Disc Jockey Record" labels featuring the iconic DJ audition star on the plug side.

• Deadwax / Runout Details: Stamped machine matrices VK 10508 102302 / VK 10508 102301, authenticating true 1967 first-press lineage from the original metal parts.

Visual Condition & Archival Details (Goldmine Standards)

• Vinyl Condition: Near Mint (NM / M-) — Unplayed New Old Stock

Deep, reflective jet-black mirror sheen across both sides with zero play wear, zero spindle drag, and zero groove fatigue. Under strong angled grading light, the playing surface displays pristine factory gloss without hairlines or handling scuffs. True unplayed archive copy.

• Center Labels: Near Mint- (NM-)

Rich aqua and black typeface against clean stock. The center hole shows razor-sharp factory edges with zero spindle trails. Mild, honest age-toning around the raw inner spindle perimeter from natural paper oxidation over the past nearly 60 years. No writing, stickers, drill holes, tears, or DJ dings.

• Sleeve / Housing: Near Mint

Preserved in a crisp, clean archival paper inner sleeve and housed in a brand-new 4mil heavy-duty clear outer sleeve.
