Original pressing of Maverick Records #1001. 7" single, not a reissue, recent pressing, or counterfeit.
Clean promo-labeled copy. I've seen several different versions of this 45, both stock and promo, but none was like this. The others had one of two different white labels or a darker, solid-colored label. This one has a multi-color, psychedelic design. I've also seen some copies referred to as 'second pressing', which to my understanding means bootleg or reissue. Well, this one is from the same small batch of late-1960s white demo records that you can see in most of my other current listings. So I doubt that it's anything but the first pressing. It does have the 'MR' (Monarch) logo STAMPED in the trailoff. Bottom of label reads 'distributed by Venture Records'. Vinyl (visually graded): NM-. Probably unplayed (possibly played a time or two), but the soft styrene material picked up some sleeve lines on one side from the creased paper sleeve that I found it in... since replaced. Labels: Mint. Perfect. No writing, stamps, stickers, tears.....
Conservatively graded, under very revealing spotlights. Please check our feedback before bidding! Visually graded. NM is usually my highest grade but I rarely use it for 45s unless they're visually perfect (and virtually unplayed). NM- is what I mostly use for real clean 45s which the average person would call "like new". For the lower grades, if they look questionable, I'll playtest them and mention it.
