Description: This is a very nice copy of an LP by sound installation artist Terry Fox, issued to accompany a 1982 exhibit of his work at the Kunstmuseum in Luzern, Switzerland. The album's gatefold cover has a 32-page booklet saddle-stitched in, and includes an A4-sized insert of some photos and a translated essay. Quite a deluxe presentation.
Additional Info: Astoundingly great LP of recordings of installations by this elusive and mysterious artist, whose performance art pieces in the 70's impressed the lucky few who saw them. In addition to his collaborations with many other artists, including Fluxus luminary Joseph Beuys, Fox has done many solo pieces and installations as well, which are documented in the accompanying booklet. The Dutch Het Apollohuis group in the mid-80's issued an incredible LP of Fox recordings entitled Berlino/Rallentando, but the material here pre-dates that album, and this is certainly a much harder item to find, especially in such nice condition. This album is listed in the Broken Music book on page 136, and is highly recommended to anyone interested in string drones, Fluxus, installation art, etc.
