Description
For sale is the compilation, "Jazztime U.S.A., Vol. 3," with the Terry Gibbs Sextet and Hot Lips Page with the Marion McPartland Trio.
SOUND: NM It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. This was a very pleasant surprise. This album contains live performances, and the quality of these recordings is excellent. As well, the record plays beautifully! Solid, clean clear sound all the way.
VINYL: NM Second pleasant surprise: the vinyl remains in near-perfect condition! Just beautiful. Even the smail DB labels are beautiful, with a single faint spindle-mark on each side.
JACKET: NM Again, beautiful in every aspect!
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
Every once in a while, you discover a 68-year-old record that looks and plays like-new. This is one! Buy-it-now for $24.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material. Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
