Description
Shandar/ Shanti, France, 1972, gatefold cover.
EX/ VG+ to EX
Nice, newish glossy cover, just a line of very slight bubbles under layer of glossy finish on front along length of opening, a factory thing - all copies I have seen have had this - not severe at all. Very light indent along spine, very light lp ring indent, 1" line of light wear inner gatefold at top corner, possible tape removal - hardly noticeable. Has whiteout covering initials inside cover pockets, front and back. Still very clean on the whole.
Lp very nice, barely if ever played, has a series of small scuffs on side 2 that cause some light clicks for a couple of minutes; other sides have a few tiny hairlines, nothing of note; typical indie French micro press from the era may have some slight surface noise at quiet spots.
Rare and magical double lp if haunting prog organ soloing by Terry Riley. Side long tracks filled with motion and emotion, majestic and meditative.
