COMMENT : Original Japanese first pressing of this essential album, recorded in New York in 1973, and only released in Japan at that time. Outstanding session led by bassist Teruo Nakamura, with help from great players such as Steve Grossman, George Cables, Charles Sullivan, Lenny White, Hubert Eaves III, Alphonze Mouzon... (see picture for the full line up). This album is famous for the wonderful spiritual jazz track "Derrick's dance", and the funky "Umma Be Me", a jazz dance classic featuring vocals from Sandy Hewitt, but the whole LP is wonderful. Being a cross between Strata East (funky left field jazz) and Coltrane. If you have never heard this gem before, please check out the long soundclip below for a delicious discovery. A spiritual soul jazz masterpiece!

This is a nice copy. Record and sleeve are both in excellent archive condition. Very rare lp!

VG = Record has been played often, presents some visible and audible marks. Sleeve shows noticeable defects like heavy split seam, tears...

VG- = Record doesn't look nice because of general wear, it is in playable condition, but some/all tracks are noisy or click. Sleeve has noticeable general wear.
