  Genuine original US test pressing. Perfect Strangers features original members Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Jon Lord, Roger Glover & Ian Paice back together again. Never released for retail; never sold in stores. On HRM Records, a promo-only record manufacturing company who never released records to be sold to the public. Super rare audition copy was only distributed to band, producer & label executives. Mercury couldn't have made more than a few dozen of these. From the 1984 album on Mercury/Polydor records. From the band that brought us "Smoke on the Water" & "Hush." Stored in a protective plastic-lined inner sleeve to insure its preservation. Pressed by Hauppage Record Manufacturing Ltd. in Hauppage, New York. "STERLING" is stamped in the dead wax to note that this record was mastered by George Marino at Sterling Sound mastering studio.   We give great importance to grading our items accurately. No scratches, stains, skips, warps, flecks, abrasions, pits, or residue on the disc or dead wax. Nice-looking surface sheen. Inaudible half-inch surface surface scuff on Side B, cut 1 ("Perfect Strangers"). Insignificant, really. Album has been stored upright in a safe way.
