Awesome estate find.
Lot of rare Jewel Akens HE'S GOOD FOR ME/HELPLESSLY IN LOVE. I believe this was made in 1973.
J.D. Doyle has an awesome youtube video about this First Gay Rock single song with an interview with Jewel Akens explaining it.
This lot includes the original:
dct recorders version
Alco test pressing
Five of the original records
And 15 original promo records
(22 records total are included, all are based on these two songs)
I am not sure how these were acquired someone must have had an in at the recording studio and these must have been passed down or something.
but its a one of a kind lot.
They appear very good condition for age. I am not a pro record grader.. There will be a few imperfections etc.
