EX/NM Audiophile Vinyl Test Record
Record label: Sheffield Lab 2
This is an original Sheffield Lab Direct-to-Disk, Limited Edition Audiophile Test Pressing made in Germany. Sheffield are the pioneers of Direct-To-Disc recording and had much to do with the advent of the "audiophile" label put on recordings that exemplify top standards in recording, mastering and pressing. Long out of print, these original Sheffields are considered to be some of the finest recordings ever produced.
These highly collectible test pressings are from the first stamper and sometimes less than 20 exist. Test pressings reflect the closest you can get to the lacquers and hence have a special collectible value.
Generic Sheffield Lab sleeve has some shelf wear but nothing major. Front has Lab 2 written in pencil on front. Label is a generic white label with info written on it (see scan). B-side label is blank. Vinyl looks and sounds like new.

Review: This is one of the most lasting and continually interesting albums ever made. I have owned this album since it's release and still enjoy it as much as the first time I tracked it. Thelma Houston is amazing and Pressure Cooker is composed of some of the finest studio musicians of the era. Being a direct to disc recording means even an unsophistacted ear can hear the dynamics and even some minor flubs in the band. As a former professional musician, the lack of multiple tracks edited until close to perfection, is a welcome plus. This is a must have for any serious collector. ~ Amazon

Smaller packages containing CDs and DVDs may be sent USPS First Class... please allow three to five days delivery for those.
International Shipments will be sent either USPS First Class International, USPS Priority International or USPS Express Mail. ANY International package with winning bid(s) over $100.00 must be shipped Priority or Express Mail. I'm sorry, all packages sent to the country of Italy MUST be sent USPS Express Mail.
Although it is a bit more expensive, Express Mail is the only method of International mail that guarantees and insures delivery... PLUS it supplies a tracking number to both sender and customer making it the best service for a safe and timely delivery.
