One of a nice treasure trove of Classical rarities we have just had in, a single reviewers collection and many unplayed lps.
Low plays TEST Pressing UK Decca Ace of Diamonds stereo LP SDD 321: Falla The Three-Cornered Hat / La Vida Breve performed by Berganza with Ansermet & the OSR.
Record in Near Mint condition, with one label having the info printed on to strips that are attached to side one. This is the next pressing of SXL 2296 which goes for mad money. Good luck trying to find a test of that!. As was stated in the guide to Decca & London Bluebacks, the SDD series was always the one with the superior sound anyway, as the new lathes were better at capturing a broader spectrum of the full frequency the Decca engineers had so carefully taped. A Ted Burkett 3G5G mastering, my own favourite when an option.
Near mint record in Near mint sleeves no splits dirt or pen, with later added strip labelling to side one, just saying what the record is.
