Description

This auction is for the WORLD'S First Released GREEN 45 Rpm Vinyl RECORD; "TEXARKANA BABY" by Eddy Arnold. On the other side it plays "BOUQUET OF ROSES" It was released on March 31, 1949 in the united states. It is also numbered on the record "48-0001-A" Trying to compete with Columbia records RCA came up with the coloured vinyl and eventually ended it's coloured vinyl records due to the price of the vinyl compared to the standard black records.  I have played it and it seems to play well with no problems. I found no skips. It does show moderate visible marks but no deep scratches just minor surface scratches. Sound quality is age appropriate. The writing is still clearly legible.  (please note that I am not a collector and the record is based on my opinion only)  Please us the pictures as they are true images of the condition of this item and are considered part of the description.  Pictures are always the best indication of overall condition, so please look them over very carefully before you order. I offer combined shipping on all my items.
