Up for auction from 1949 Texas Slim AKA John Lee Hooker 78 rpm King Records-4377 Moaning Blues/Thinking Blues. (Record unfortunately will not track for me on either side starting on the intro trails as it just throws the tone arm up and down then forward. When spinning the record you can visually see along the rim an up and down warp motion more so on moaning side. When the record is spinning if you put your finger "lightly" down along the intro trail a rippling effect can be felt which goes about half way through the record on both sides). This May Do Better With A Different Tone Arm Or More Weight However Not Guaranteed So Being Sold As Is. VISUAL RECORD GRADING MOANING BLUES: V+ Still shiny but without the luster of a new record has some light scuffing, and 2 noticeable scratches as shown, the longer one I can catch with my nail is overall still very clean as shown. THINKING BLUES: V+ Same as the first side with less overall luster, and marks as shown also has a small scratch I can just catch with my nail is otherwise still very clean. LABELS: Are just about spotless for their 74 years of age as shown. Will be packed in it's Original King Outer Sleeve which is in good condition having some tears as shown.
