Up for auction at NO reserve is Thad Jones The Magnificent LP on Blue Note, catalog # BLP-1527. This is the original deep groove flat edge MONO pressing on the 767 Lexington Ave NYC label with RVG and "ear" etched in trail off. The LP is VG/VG+. I played it and it plays about the way it looks; nothing real loud, but a moderate amount of quiet clicks and pops that are worse in between songs and in quiet parts. Still...a very nice copy of a rare and in demand Blue Note. The cover is VG+ with some light seam and edge wear, hint of ring wear, and light corner wear. Back cover has price written in upper left corner in pencil, some light ring wear, and some other titles underlined in pen on the bottom.  Vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI.  Personnel includes:  Thad Jones;  Billy Mitchell;  Barry Harris;  Percy Heath;  and Max Roach. All LPs are shipped outside of the album cover in a brand new sleeve and are packed in dedicated record mailers with sturdy cardboard inserts. Shipping is $7.00 via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in the US or Airmail to Canada. $12.00 Airmail to Europe and the UK, $14.00 to my friends and customers in the Pacific.
