Description
This is a 5th Dimension Live LP that was hand signed by all members, and given as a gift by the groups manager Marc Gordon in 1971.
A friend of mine who is a retired attorney here in Cleveland recently gave me this LP, and the letters associated with it. Dissatisfied with The 5th Dimension performance on August 25, 1971 at The Blossom Music Center, he wrote to the band and management to express his displeasure at what he felt was a lackluster and short set. A few months later he got a package from Marc Gordon in Los Angeles that contained the LP set, and apology letter signed by Marc Gordon, and a xerox copy of the original letter that was written to the band.
Hand signed by all 5 members including Mariyln McCoo and Billy Davis Jr.
The vinyl is in excellent condition. One LP looks to have been played as it has a few very light scuffs and marks, the other looks to be unplayed. Comes with the original inner sleeves. The original shrink wrap w/ hype sticker is still attached protecting the signatures.
Comes with everything that is pictured. 2 LP set w/ original gatefold cover signed by all members. Signed letter from Marc Gordon dated 1971 and copy of original latter sent to the group and management.
This will be VERY carefully packaged for shipment, to prevent any damage by USPS while in transit.
