Description

THE ABUSED – super duper extremely rare “LOUD AND CLEAR” EP! Only 1000 copies made on their Abused Music label. The vinyl is in excellent condition and the cover is very good. It includes the original lyric sheet insert. This record has been kept in storage for the last 20+ years. It's in extremely good condition. One of the original founders of NYHC!

"The Abused are one of the Original HardCore bands New York produced in the early eighties, they were a HardCore Machine! with tight original music at the top of their game in 1982-1983 when the whole NY Punk and Hard Core scene was ever growing, developing and Kicking Ass...and while the band was only able to stay together a few years, They did put out one 7" EP "loud and Clear" which has become a classic and sought after collectable...some of their songs have been covered by bands like Warzone and Gorilla Biscuits and others .... "

On Nov-06-04 at 11:25:46 PST, seller added the following information:

The cover of this record is notorious for falling apart due to the perforated sides where the front and back bend. The sizing of the inner paper sleeve causes damage to the perforations in the cover when you remove or put back the paper sleeve.

My copy is in tact yet some of the perforations on the top corners are beginning to gap. To alleviate this problem, the record was placed in a plastic protector sleeve and the paper sleeve holding the record sits outside of the cover so that no damage can be done to the cover. If you win this auction, please handle the sleeve with great care and leave it outside the cover or you may damage the jacket.
