Description

This is The Afex with their 7" vinyl single She's Got The Time/I Never Knew Love Was Like This on the King record label. This is the original 1967 press which is extremely uncommon and does not come up for sale very often. 

The Afex were a teenage mod band, who, in 1967, released this one and only beat garage/rock single on King Records. The single disappeared from trace and the band eventually split up. 

With matrices KG3358 A1/KG3358 B1.

The vinyl visually is in VG+ condition with some visible hairlines seen under very bright LED's; these were not overly visible in normal daylight so they are very light. There is one small and very light scratch on side 2 which had no effect on play whatsoever and the single played through beautifully with no jumps or clicks. Both sides have crackle at the runins. Side 1 played with an excellent sound quality with only light crackle during play. Side 2 had a little more crackle but this stayed in the background and did not overpower leaving a VG sound quality throughout.

The labels have no tears or writing. There are marks on side 1 from an old sticker that was removed.

I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.

All singles are hand cleaned.

I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.

The record is then packaged in a protective outersleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
