REASON "THE AGE OF REASON" (GEORGETOWNE) 1969   VERY RARE VIRGINIA HARD ROCK/PSYCH ROCK
CVR IS VG+  OVERAL WEAR  SOME MARKER PRINT ON BACK
DISC APPEARS VG+ BUT PLAYS EX  FIRST TRACK HAS A LOW POP ON PART OF THE SONG, AND SOME OCCASIONAL MINOR NOISE HERE AND THERE BUT PLAYS GREAT
This rather obscure record was the only album by this band. Apparently they were a studio project and not an actual band. The album was originally a private pressing and it's a very rare collector's item nowadays. It was reissued for the first time in 2016 by the Spanish label Out-Sider.

The band plays a very organ driven mix of hard rock and psychedelic rock with some soul influences here and there. The album includes both cover songs and original compositions and both of them work quite well. The highlights of the record are "This Wheel's On Fire" and "Bang Bang" which are both covers. Overall the material is  outstanding AND it's quite OK from the start to the finish.
