DESCRIPTION
You are bidding on a very fine example of a RARE original 1965 UK PROMO release by THE ALAN BOWN SET on the Pye label (7N 17148) "HEADLINE NEWS" b/w "MR. PLEASURE" 7-inch 45 RPM single with solid centre. In repro Pye company sleeve.
This terrific single is in a fine excellent plus (EX+) condition. Clean, crisp and bright, retaining its original sheen and with only one very light, barely discernible surface mark on side B. No blemishes. The labels are nice and clean (see scans). There are no stickers, tears or writing. The solid centre is fully intact and has no damage. There are no spindle marks or signs of wear.
The record plays superbly, loud and clear, without hiss or crackle or anything to spoil the enjoyment. Definitely no skips or jumps.
