A UK mono album in original condition, featuring:

1. original UK front laminated, ‘twin flip back’ top and bottom sleeve,

2. spelling errors / inconsistencies on the sleeve / record labels, being:

a. side one, track two, for the writers credit on the sleeve it is printed as, ‘Goffin / King’, but on the record label this is printed as, ‘Spector / Goffin / King’,

b. side one, track three, on the sleeve the track title is printed as, ‘Going down slow’, but on the record label this is printed as, ‘Goin down slow’. Also the writers credit on the sleeve is printed as, ‘Oden’, but on the record label this is printed as, ‘Dupree’,

c. side one, track four, on the sleeve the track title is printed as, ‘Its getting mighty crowded’, but on the record label this is printed as, ‘Gettin mighty crowded’. Also the writers credit on the sleeve is printed as, ‘Van McCoy’, but on the record label this is printed as just, ‘McCoy’,

d. side one, track five, on the sleeve the writers credit is printed as just, ‘Doggett’, but on the record label this is printed as, ‘Doggett / Shepherd / Scott / Butler,

e. side two, track one, on the sleeve the writers credit is printed as just, ‘Covay’, but on the record label this is printed as, ‘Covay / Miller’,

f. side two, track two, on the sleeve the writers credit is printed as just, ‘Hunter’, but on the record label this is printed as, ‘Hunter / Wonder’,

g. side two, track three, on the sleeve the writers credit is printed as just, ‘Robinson’, but on the record label this is printed as, ‘Robinson, Moore, Tarplin, Rogers’.

3. earliest first issue 1963 UK red mono, Decca ‘ridged’ record labels,

4. the record features the earliest matrix of, 1A / 1A,

5. the record features the earliest, ‘mothers’ of, ‘1’ / ‘1’,

6. comes with its original period ‘Decca’ inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in very good++ condition and has remained clean, white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the original 1960s, ‘twin flip back’ design, ie fold over edges. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original period ‘Decca’ inner sleeve. An excellent clean, crease free inner sleeve. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in near excellent condition. The record is made of the period 1960s, ‘thick heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix are: XARL 7521 - 1A and XARL 7522 1A, each side there are also the letters ‘KT’ engraved onto the ‘run off’ groove.

The mother / stampers are: ‘1 C’ and ‘1 A’.

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent. The record plays with a full loud, powerful period mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
