THE A;;MAN BROTHERS BAND-EAT A PEACH 1972 CAPRICORN RECORDS GATEFOLD 2 LP'S 2CP 0102 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! One of the greatest albums in the ABB catalog in this auction and for many, it's their finest. Mixing both studio and live tracks, the Brothers made sure the Fillmore East shows were no fluke. Duane Allman, the leader of the band, died during the recording but his work on this release is a testament to his amazing guitar work. Tracks such as Ain't Wastin' Time No More, Blue Sky, Melissa and the track that takes two sides to complete, Mountain Jam all appear on this must own blues rock, jam band effort. All fans of the band, the genre or the Southern rock sounds of the early 70's need this one in their collection, it's an absolute essential!!
The records are both in an easy VG+ condition with just 3 very light hairlines on side 2 and a very small, very light one on side 1 none of which hampers play at all, plays well throughout. The gatefold cover has minor wear along the edges, mild rubs on the corners and a wee bit of aging front and back. Both of the original inner sleeves each have a small split and hold their records well. A fantastic buy!!
