THE AMBERS Potion of Love / Another Love rare Smash Records S-2111 7 inch
First of all let me say that I played this record and it sounded real good. The fidelity is still there and the music rises above any defects in the vinyl for the most part. It's a very playable record. There are quite a few scuffs and light scratches so there is some surface noise and some scattered clicks and pops. It's not perfect but the flaws shouldn't interfere with enjoyment of the music if you can tolerate some imperfection. When I listened I certainly heard the music way more than the surface noise and was not distracted. I think VG is the proper grade. The original Smash label sleeve is the proper match for this record according to http://45-sleeves.com/USA/smash/smas-us.htm so that is a plus. On the other hand I have to tell you that the sleeve is pretty ragged so don't expect too much there.
