Description

This is one of the Top Rarities of the Freakbeat/RnB Aera, the very first recording by UK RnB legends THE ANIMALS. This was released on the Manchester local label "Graphic Sound" in late 63 under the name of "The Alan Price Combo", but there exists also a pressing under the name of THE ANIMALS - this is even rarer than the impossible to find "Alan Price Combo" version. Record No. is A.L.0. 10867. Both variants of the record were pressed BEFORE the Animals got their major deal with UK Columbia and rose to fame with "House Of The Rising Sun". Tracks are great RnB recordings: "I Wanna Make Love To You", "Big Boss Man", "Boom Boom Boom", "Pretty Thing". This is the ONLY copy of this record under the name the Animals that I have ever heard of! It is in VG condition and plays well, there is a slight warp - that can not be heard if you put some extra weight on the arm of your record player. A one-off rarity with super clean labels. Record was never issued with a cover and is one-sided - from the Heydays of the band at the famous Club a Gogo in Manchester!
