THE ARCHIES:  THIS IS LOVE (STEREO)

SUPER-RARE ALBUM IN NEAR-MINT CONDITION!

 

THE ARCHIES:  "This Is Love" LP on the RCA label.  Stereo KES-110 (orange label) is in near-mint condition, and plays beautifully.  Cover is excellent to near-mint, with the tiniest of dings on two corners.  These are VERY minor flaws.  

 

This is the hardest-to-find Archies album, almost criminally rare, and it's well worth having, as it's easily the strongest album by the "group."  Ron Dante does his usual superb job, and songs are by Dante, Jeff barry, Andy Kim, Ritchie Adams, Robert Levin, and others.  Songs are "This Is Love"..."Don't Need No Bad Boy"..."Should Anybody Ask"..."Easy Guy"..."Maybe I'm Wrong"..."What Goes On"..."Carousel Man"..."Hold On To Lovin'"..."This Is The Night"..."Little Gren Jacket"..."Together We Two"..."Throw A Little Love My Way." Almost none of these songs appear on any compilations.  More mature songwriting, harder-edged in spots, but definitely "Archies" music.  This is the nicest copy I've ever seen of this rare find, and it's a great chance to finally fill in that blank space in your Archies' collection!

 

I'll be auctioning off some othe Archies' records, but this is the only copy of "This Is Love" that I have.
