EP (Extended Play)
Low start!.....NO Reserve!.....NO high priced ‘Buy It Now’.
Super-rare 4 track EP from the Art Movement!....A privately made record on the Livingston (no ‘g’) label. This is probably a Hertfordshire group who went on to record for EMI and Decca and eventually performed and recorded with Roy Orbison.
It’s really good 60’s psych/garage sound with a strong vocal. ‘Here Today’ is a Beach Boys song and ‘She Was Really….’ is a Velvelettes song. The other two are composed by someone named David Jeavons and are well worth a listen.
As far as I can ascertain, due to its ultra-rarity this EP has been overlooked by ‘Record Collector’ and none are on eBay or Popsike! (One small mention on the net)
